Other people were claiming number 6 road. Does anybody know for certain?

Definately Road 5,
There were 5 roads to our right, (which could have caused confusion), namely:
4, 3, 2, 1 & DS2.
There were 5 roads to our left between us and the roads with buffers stops on.(6, 7, 8, 9 & 10)
It is also the same road which was covered by Branch Line Society's trip "South Essex No.1 tour" on Sunday 21st May 2000. That tour arrived at Ferme Park (road 5) then reversed and headed off around the Harringay Curve, with the Hastings Unit!!

Cheers.

By Right you mean Starboard and Left you mean Port, or is it Downside and Upside :-)

I feel a law suit coming on, what with this and the inaccuracies suggesting the hybrid fromation of a 101 & 114 unit (refer to 80's), the whole world could simply collapse.

I would like to point PRAR in the general direction of the tour brochure and more specifically page 6 of said brochure (with page page 1 being the front cover).

quote:

ROUTE ITINERARY - Compiled by Richard Szwejkowski

The notes below give details of features of railway interest principally, but some points of general interest are included. The terms (L) and (R) refer to the left and right of the train when facing the direction of travel.

OK, I should have put (L) or (R) instead of 'left' and 'right' - take me out and shoot me!!

I haven't round to reading the brochure yet... Shall we adopt (L) and (R) as a group standard? Would we have to get the SRA to retify it?

:-)
