An amazing day out - just about every available piece of goods line between Watford and Ipswich!

Sorry to query the DMU i/d again, but this formation would not have included a brake vehicle so would appear highly unlikely...also the fact that 51403 was scrapped two months before the tour!

I seem to have been selective in listing the bogcarts used on this tour. I apologise for the duff info. and shall have to ask the audience as I cannot find my original notes for this tour. I think they got shredded with all the other evidence before the Freedom of Information Act came into force. I think I still have some photographs / slides of this trip which should give me the set number of one of the units at least (if only I could find them).

The itinerary states that 3 times 3 car sets were to be utilised for this marathon stagger.
