A discrepancy has arisen involving the Black Cat tour "Classic DMU Railtour" on 13th June 1992.
This was the planned re-run of the fully booked 16th May 1992 Railtour, which took in 'Scottish Freight Lines' in the Edinburgh & Fife Area.
At the moment we have one person who says the 13th June tour run and one person saying it did not with one person "thinking it didn't run".
There is also one unconfirmed report of the 16th May tour also being called the "Class 107 Farewell"
Any news on Any Black Cat tours and whether or not they run would be helpful. |

Definitely ran I was on it !!
DMU was 52008 + 59792 + 51994.
I'll be posting the timings (booked and actual) to Gary shortly.

I too remember a Class 107 farewell tour being advertised by Black Cat but I think only the tour on the 13th June ran, Black Cat disapeared with out a trace I if I remember rightly soon after these tours ran |

The first run was on 16th May, the 13th June trip was a re-run due to the uptake and inability of Scotrail to provide more capacity. Alan Sheppard provided actual timings for 16th May, Andy Hoskins provided same for 13th June so I think we can safely say both ran.
Now, when it comes to the name(s) of the tours...well, that's another matter....
