Can you help Stuart Beadle with this train (date, loco & route);

Merrymaker, late 1980 - early 1981

Hull - Carnforth - ? very wet day.

Class 40 hauled throughout - routed I think via Engine Shed J - Whitehall J (i.e. avoiding Leeds station)
