The 1986 BLS Annual Report lists a DMU tour to Rowntree Halt that took place on 11/01/86.
I didn't travel on this (track done on the service train and preceding ECS) so don't have any further details other than the route was York - Burton Lane Jn -Rowntree Halt (reverse) - Burton Lane Jn - York.
Apologies if I've spelt the chocolate factory station name incorrectly. I've also seen it spellt Rowntrees and Rowntree's. |
