This tour was originally to have included the Vise - Montzen - Aachen West and Stolberg - Walheim - Raeren lines. Both lines were refused at short notice by DB and replaced by Maastricht - Simpelveld - Aachen West and Aachen Hbf - Welkenraedt via line 37. Choice freight track replaced by lines with passenger services. Woopee Doo! Never did get round to travelling between Montzen and Aachen West or Stohlberg - Raeren. Ain't life wonderful. |
