Can anyone identify this NENTA railtour for John Ball;
47558 Mayflower hauled at least part of a trip to Edinburgh (pictured running round at Ely) for the Military Tattoo, imaginatively named Edinburgh Tattoo. The only trip I can find to Edinburgh was 30/4/83, but I thought the tattoo was at the same time as the festival - the end of August, so I think this was a different date. It would definitely have been a Saturday, and I think more likely 1986/87 ish |
