47117 on a Charter returning to the WR after the Ladies Hockey International at Wembley (St.Trinian's Day Out!)at Old Oak East.
47038 1Z78 another load of screaming schoolgirls let out to watch the hockey noted at Kensington Olympia.

20/05/78 40067 at scarborough heading a Return Adex to Leighton Buzzard. 31312 also at Scarborough with the Swansea Adex. Loco changes at York so that incoming locos can be refuelled for return journeys.

25/06/78 with apologies for getting the origin wrong twice in previous correspondence. 40025 1L75 07.06 Staleybridge to Barmouth Adex seen at Stockport ( 06.20 ECS from Stockport to Staleybridge ), Crewe and Barmouth. train left Barmouth on the return at 18.15. Route details as previously stated to and from Crewe. also at Barmouth 25148+25118 with 17.35 BR Return Adex from Porthmadoc to Leicester. What with the 37 working on the charter to Pwllheli and the 25s on the service train from/to London Barmouth was a great place to watch trains.
