Just to tidy up the Railtour File listing the name of the train was definitely The Anglian Whistler and the Reporting Code was 1Z95. As far as I am aware any Inter Regional Excursion Train at the time would have been denoted by the letter Z after the train's classification number. This would rule out 1L02. The timing sheet shows the ultimate destination of the train as Wansford so the Kettles ought tto be shown in the list of train engines. 70000 should be listed from Orton Mere to Wansford with 73052 listed as working from Wansford to Orton Mere. The stop at March was for a guided visit to March Depot with the stock and locos berting in the Down Goods No1 adjacent the Down Yard. |
