1994 May 15 Las Vegas Amtrak Depot, Afton Canyon, Daggett, Barstow (main track), Victorville, Cajon Pass north track ( Alray and Sullivan's Curve), San Bernardino, CP Rancho, B Yard, Riverside, Pedley, Ontario Metrolink Depot.(3).
1994 May 24 Ontario Metrolink Depot, Pedley, Riverside, San Bernardino, Cajon, Victorville, Barstow , Dagett , Afton Canyon, Las Vegas Amtrak Depot.
1994 May 26 Las Vegas Amtrak Depot, Milford, Salt Lake City UP Depot.

(1) E9 diesels in consist to keep the train moving in case of problems with the steam loco and for braking on the inclines such as Cajon Pass.
(2) UP 3985 detached at Milford - steam banned from running during hours of darkness. Loco ran light engine to Las Vegas ( Elvis was reported driving) the following day.
(3) Train berthed at UP East Los Angeles Yard. Passengers detrained at East Ontario for operating reasons with road transportation to end destinations such as hotels, LAX Airport.
On May 21 and 22 train worked short trips between East Ontario and Victorville |
