Slowly the crowds gathered at Acocks Green for the second of 6024s second loaded test run. (Acocks Green - Stratford-upon-Avon - Birmingham Snow Hill - both directions via Solihul), most arriving by train as the train wasn't booked to call on the return trip (although a few parked in the car park) Aorund 150 people eargerly waited the trains arrival which arrived a few minutes down. A pleasant though not awe inspiring run followed to Stratford. After running round we headed back to the main line only to be plagued by single yellows from Hatton North Junction to Solihul, from there it was too late to open up so we had to be content with a pootle down to Acocks Green (where we had an unscheduled stop to allow people to rescue there cars from the car park), then to Tysley and Birmingham Snow Hill.

All in all a pleasant evening trip although it'd have been nice to work the king a little (or a lot) harder.
