Notes :
(1) Due to a shortage of driving hours available to the steam crews IE diesel
locos took over.
(2) Passengers had to de-train for the stock to be shunted to the down platform
loop.
(3) Chris Totty comments: It was found at the last minute that No 4 was too
heavy for the Shannon Bridge, and that there were no driver hours available to
bring 186 to Mullingar, so IE diesels took over again.
(4) For visit to the Cavan & Leitrim Railway. Chris Totty comments: C&LR loco LM
350 ran an 'as required' shuttle service between Dromod and Clooncolry Crossing.
On the return journey these trains called at an unnamed platform, called Dromod
Works Platform by the guard, to set down those who wished to visit the works and
it also picked up anyone who wanted a lift back to Dromod station.
(5) Timing sheet shows "RPSI mark 2 rake" to Belfast Central and "5 mark 2's"
from Belfast Central - it assumed this is the same rake of coaches, but this
needs confirming.
