Notes :
(1) Kevin Adlam comments: D3232 was chartered at short notice on arrival at Bury Bolton Street to provide cab rides whilst the stock for the UK Railtours “Thames Irwell” was watered at Bolton Street. After approval from the signaller and the ELR Responsible Officer (RO), the Carriage and Wagon department’s gronk (suitably adorned with “go faster” furry dice) was detached from its mark I rake to provide much appreciated cab rides. The ELR settled at £5 per head for two return trips, with no more than three passengers per trip on board.  The first departure was 15.35, the round trip taking just under five minutes. The total number of runs provided was not recorded, but the ELR were delighted with the unexpected additional revenue. The total round trip delivered an estimated 28 chains of gronk thrash. With thanks to driver Tony from the East Lancashire Railway. RIP Margaret Adlam.
(2) Reported initially as Buckley Wells No.2 Carriage Road Siding however it was given in the Quail track diagrams as Buckley Wells No.1 Carriage Road Siding.
(3) Alan Sheppard comments:
I heard about the 08 being used while I was over on platform 2 in the cafe, but when I got over to end of platform 4, it was no longer running. At 16.20, the shunter driver turned up again & two trips were done - this time only 1 return trip per party of 3, just onto the Carriage Siding No.1, was covered not two return trips - it was still £5 though for basically half the distance.
