Notes :
(1) The letter sent out by Kingfisher Railtours stated: 'Network Rail recently started work on the preliminary timings for this train. They have advised us that additional engineering work in the Newbury area, which was not known about when we first planned the tour, means that our train cannot return to Westbury. In order to return before this work commences our train would have to depart very early in the morning at around 0500hrs and we would be unable to call at five of the planned passenger stops due to the intensive commuter service operating south of the river. In addition we would only be allowed to have a stop of approximately 35 minutes at Bognor Regis which really does defeat the idea of a leisurely day out at the seaside'.
(2) Diesel booked on rear.
(3) 34067 booked on rear.
(4) The route between Eastleigh & Basingstoke may have been: Eastleigh - Romsey - (via Laverstock Loop) - Andover - Basingstoke. The details advertised show both Winchester & Andover as the return route.
