Notes :
(1) Alan Sheppard comments: the plan was to cover both platforms, (with the rarer non-preferred East side platform first), but late running meant only the non-preferred platform done.
(2) Alan Sheppard comments: the plan was to cover both platforms, (with the non-preferred South side platform first, although unlike other NET termini, both platforms are used regularly at Toton Lane), but on arrival at Toton (East) we could see that both platforms were occupied & although the North side preferred platform was cleared first, the plan was to cover the South side paltform first, so we waited.
(3) Alan Sheppard comments: with the income from the Charter being donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust which has recently opened a new unit at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre, a group photo opportunity was arranged at the QMC Stop.
(4) Alan Sheppard comments: was booked to run through the Centre Platform at Forest Northbound, but due to a build up of leaves & debris in the track, staff tried to set points for the Centre Platform but with following trams waiting behind us, the decision was made that we needed to just go, so we used the 'normal' West side Platform.
(5) Break taken at Wilkinson Street Depot for guided tours of the workshop & control room.
(6) Alan Sheppard comments: a late addition added to the end of the Tour was that after the Bulwell Crossover, we would run straight through Wiliknson Street back down to The Forest, into the Centre Road & reverse there to claw back half of the missed Northbound run through the Centre Road.
(7) Alan Sheppard comments: after the conclusion of the Tour, it had been arranged with 'Control' that the next four service trams after 17:00 would be routed into the Non-Preferred Platform at Phoenix Park.
