(5) Original planned route returning from Tweedbank was Newcraighall - Niddrie
South Jn - Niddrie West Jn - 'Edinburgh Sub' - Craiglockhart Jn - Gorgie Jn -
Haymarket Central Jn - Princes Street Gardens - Edinburgh Waverley. For a few
Weeks before the tour, extra trains had been laid on between Haymarket & Fife
due to the closure of the Forth Road Bridge, resulting in no capacity for the
Tour Train through Haymarket even though the extra trains had been using the
'Fife' pair of lines. The Road Bridge opened a Week before the tour & the extra
trains cancelled but the original planned route was not reinstated.
(6) 90029 failed on attempted departure from Edinburgh Waverley, so return was
67023 with 90029 Dead-in-Tow.
