(6) Alan Sheppard comments; due to late running, a quick reversal at Brightside Up East Slow, rather than the booked Reception Siding 1.
(7) Alan Sheppard comments; also, to save time, after Huddersfield the train reversed within Bradley Tunnel then back though Huddersfield & towards Manchester via Diggle rather than via Brighouse & Rochdale.
(8) Alan Sheppard comments; at Wilmslow it was decided 37423 was not going to carry on much further, so the decision was made to run up to Piccadilly to turn the train & continue with 37422.
(9) Alan Sheppard comments; at Earles Sidings, 37422 was declared a failure, so we propelled into the Sidings & waited for a rescue loco from Peak Forest.
(10) Alan Sheppard comments; this leg of the tour was originally advertised as 'The Cromford & High Peak Explorer'.
