Notes :
(1) Originally uploaded as 25th May, the July 1955 Trains Illustrated carried a
photo and description of the tour in the Motive Power Miscellany section but
gave it as having run on the 15th of May, as does the ticket below; therefore it
is now assumed the running date of 25th May was in error. John Debens adds; the
second ticket now uploaded for this date (no.0048) is curious, as this one was
issued by London Transport, from Harrow to Amersham/ Great Missenden,
suggesting there were two trains, within the same Event/ Destinations. This trip
must have been facilitated via London Transport stock. The first ticket was
issued by the British Transport Commission, so was via BR trains.
