(1) It is reported that the train stalled on the approach to West Norwood and was assisted in rear by an EMU.

(40 Stock confirmation (and order) required - above is as given in the tour itinerary (noted as 'Hastings Line stock', dating from 1926 to 1934). The itinerary went on to give the following details: these vehicles, excluding the Pullman Car, form part of 10 corridor set 951, which, prior to dieselisation of the Hastings Line, regularly worked the famous 8.8am Hastings to Cannon Street and 5.5pm return, which formation also included a Pullman Car. Pullman Car 180, formerly amed 'Camilla' and a KitchenCar, has this year lost its name and familiar livery for 'Southern' Green, and is now a Buffet Car on the Ocean Liner Boat Train.
(5) Tour itinerary stated: It is hoped the train over the K.E.S.R. will consist of Pull & Push Set 723 (ex-L.B.S.C.R.) and 3 (ex-S.E.C.R.) non-corridor seconds.
