Notes :
(1) 5056 was failed, being replaced by 5080. David Hills reports '5056 quickly headed back towards Shrewsbury, complete with the Welshpool - Newton 'staff' still onboard! The locomotive was finally stopped at Westbury and promptly reversed course back to Welshpool, where the special finally got away over an hour late'.
(2) Route & loco confirmation required. Steve Haynes listed this as running on 9th April, not 8th however Peter Smith confirms the tour itinerary was dated 8th April.
