Notes :
(1) The tour was originally advertised to start at Liverpool Lime Street but was revised to Warrington Bank Quay, however Crewe was included as an unadvertised pick-up & set-down.
(2) 244 failed at Goose Hill Jn and was dead-in-tow from there to York Yard South, causing much delay.
(3) David Groves has a note that this leg was hauled by a class 24 however Mike Martin confirms the leg was worked by 271 as shown. Mike also confirms that 271 worked back at least as far as Manchester Victoria where he alighted.
(4) Loco propelling.
