Notes :
(1) Off train options;
Group 1: 'leaves the train at Machynlleth and immediately joins the waiting
coaches for Aberystwyth. We travel on the 13.45 train for Devil's Bridge
arriving 14.45. There will be time for sight-seeing before joining the 16.15
departure arriving Aberystwyth 17.10. The coaches leave promptly at 17.20
arriving Machynlleth 18.00'.
Group 2: 'leaves the train at Towyn for the short walk to the Wharf station of
the Talyllyn Railway. A special train to include sight-seeing stops has been
arranged'. [see below for the special train times]
Group 3: 'leaves the train at Barmouth for a coach tour to Harlech Castle (14.00
+ 14.30) then via Trawsfynydd Lake to Dolgellau (15.30 + 16.45) where Afternoon
Tea will be served at the Sospan Restaurant, Queens Square. After a little time
for sight-seeing the coach departs promptly for Barmouth arriving 17.10'.
Group 4: 'leaves the train at Minffordd for a round trip on the Festiniog
Railway. A special train has been arranged'. [see below for the special train
times]
Group 5: 'leaves the train at Criccieth or Pwlllheli for sight-seeing in the
locality'.
