Notes :
(1) Off train options;
Group 1: 'will be able to spend about four hours sight-seeing in Glasgow or nearby, possibly visiting the historic underground with rolling stock dating from 1896, or viewing any of the numerous attractions'.
Group 2: 'immediately joins awaiting buses standing in front of the station for the Glasgow Works of British Rail Engineering Ltd, (13.45 + 15.15). A conducted tour will be provided during which we shall visit most parts of the works. We travel next to the Museum of Transport (15.30 + 16.30) with its magnificent collection of relics, including seven historic Scottish steam locomotives dating from 1886. After time for sight-seeing we leave for Glasgow Central'.
Group 3: 'immediately joins the awaiting coaches standing in the central carriage-way for a relaxing tour to the Trossachs in the sparkling colours of spring-time. We soon leave the City and pass through delightful countryside with views of the Campsie Fells, then on via Aberfoyle and over the Duke's Pass to the Trossachs. We tour via Loch Katrine, Loch Achray and Loch Vennachar to Callander, continuing to Doune with its 15th-century castle, then via Bridge of Allan and Stirling to Glasgow'.
Group 4: 'immediately joins the awaiting coaches standing in the central carriage-way for an enchanting tour to romantic Loch Lomond. Leaving the City we climb over the Kilpatrick Hills, through the villages of Stockiemuir and Gartocharn to Balloch at the head of Loch Lomond. We follow the twisting road along the Loch-side with spectacular views all the way to Tarbet. Touring via Arrochar, Loch Long and Gareloch with more delightful scenery before reaching Helensburgh we travel along the Firth of Clyde to Glasgow'.
