(1) Howard Parker comments: Torquay was also advertised as a destination. Newton Abbot was judged to be more interesting from a railway point of view than Paignton so a day return was purchased. Haulage to Newton Abbot was 45021 and return 47144. 50033, 50045, 47033 and 45027 were seen heading east and 1015, 46034 and 46043 heading west.
