Notes :
(1) Route and loco confirmation required both ways between Burton-on-Trent and Leicester. Howard Parker comments: The extended time south around Kettering on the outward journey was due to crossing to the up slow line at Glendon North Jn to allow an up service train to overtake.  The normal route from Brent sidings via Acton Central and Chiswick to Clapham Junction was not available due to engineering work at Brent Jn, hence the rather more unusual diversion onto the North London line.
