(1) Route confirmation required. Destination according to Alex Cunningham was Largs, which has also been suggested by SRPS archivist Brian Knights (according to Alex: "on arrival at Largs the SRPS contingent then joined Wirral Railway Circle passengers aboard T.S. Queen Mary for a cruise round Kyles of Bute to Tarbert and Inverary and return") however the SRPS magazine gave the train destination as Ardrossan.
