(1) Route confirmation required. For a cruise round Kyles of Bute to Tarbert and Inverary and return. Bus connections were available from Tarbert to Inverary in both directions At Largs a contingent of SRPS tour passengers also joined the cruise. A note to passengers stated that because of higher charges imposed by the Clyde Port Authority they could not call at Ardrossan as originally advertised by the SRPS.
(2) The electric loco had been declared a failure and a pair of 20's were used for the return leg to get the train away from Gourock.
