Notes :
(1) Loco & route confirmation required (above routing is taken from advertising leaflet). A special bus was organised from Ilfracombe (08.40d) & Braunton (George) (09.00d) for Barnstaple to connect with the run to Torrington and back. The bus also returned to Ilfracombe from Barnstaple in the evening, calling at any regular bus-stop on its route. Use of the bus was free to train passengers but to avoid overcrowding a pre-obtained ticket was required.
