Notes:
(1) The tour train did not start at Marylebone as planned.....due to the very cold weather the stock was late coming down from ?Oxley? so a special DMU was ran from Marylebone to High Wycombe to connect with the empty stock and to avoid an even later departure.
(2) Andy Pullar comments : Owing to the late running caused by the weather the train was turned on the triangle at Northwich rather than the loco running around in the station. The scheduled route to Ditton Jn via Warrington, Golborne Jn, St Helens Shaw St, Sutton Oak and Widnes was also omitted in favour of the direct route through Runcorn as a consequence of the late running.
