(1) 60009 failed with a faulty big end. Booked loco change point was Larbert station but Keith Hayward reports the change took place just short of the platforms.
(2) Booked route was: Greenhill Upper Jn - Lenzie - Cowlairs West Jn - Parkhead North Jn - Sunnyside Jn - Glasgow Central.
(3) Tickets were also valid on connecting services to/from the tour - John Broderick had 87009 from Euston (07.45d) to Carlisle and 86242 back from Crewe (19.32d).
