Notes :
(1) Route & loco confirmation required. Off-train options were as follows;
Group 1 : leave the train at Carstairs, Haymarket or Edinburgh for optional sight-seeing.
Group 2 : leave the train at Carstairs, joining coaches for Whitburn, Armadale and the motorway to Stirling and Dunblane, turning off for Braco and Crieff. Return was via Comrie, Lochearn, Strathyre, Callander, Doune, Cumbernauld and Airdrie to Carstairs.
Group 3 : leave the train at Edinburgh and joining coaches to tour via the Forth bridges before returning to Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile and Holyrood House, returning via Charlotte Square to Princes Street for around 16.15
Group 4 : leave the train at Edinburgh and joining coaches for the Forth bridge, Loch Leven, Crook of Devon, Rumbling Bridge, Devon Valley, Gleneagles and Crieff; returning via Comrie, Stirling and Linlithgow to Edinburgh.
Group 5 : leave the train at Edinburgh and joining coaches for Musselburgh, Aberlady Bay, North Berwick, Dunbar and Grantshouse; returning via Preston, Cranshaws, Gifford, Haddington, Tranet and Musselburgh to Edinburgh.
Group 6 : leave the train at Haymarket for the short walk to Haymarket MPD; after the visit time was free for sight-seeing.
