(1) Tour ticket gave the tour name as 'The Thames-Avon Pullman' however both the tour brochure and timing sheet gave the name as 'The Thames-Avon Express'. It is assumed that passengers who joined at the pick-up points of Rugby and Nuneaton used service train(s) to return home.
(2) At Banbury water-stop the train ran through the station to a point just south, then set-back into the station.
