Notes :
(1) DMU 79964 was available as an alternative to travel on between Haworth and Oxenhope (used by LASERman)
(2) 92253 was remarshalled to the other end of the formation at Kyle of Lochalsh as locomotive 37025 developed a fault when climbing to Ravens Rock summit on the journey to Kyle of Lochalsh resulting in it throwing out oil. The Charter Train Director (David Ward), travelling on the train, took a dim view of this as the charter train set roofs had recently been painted. It was hoped that the BG would take most of the oily deposits on its roof being the leading vehicle in both directions on the Kyle line.
(3) Set 1 worked separately from Edinburgh to Aberdeen.
(4) 47197 ran round at Keith and propelled to Keith Loop.
(5) Photographic evidence shows only USA 5820 hauling train into Oxenhope, believed 43924 may have been on the rear, confirmation required.
(6) Called additionally at Knebworth on return working after failing to stop as booked at Stevenage.
