Notes :
(1) Locos worked in tandem rather than in multiple. It is reported that from Westbury the 56 very little, if any, work thus it is very doubtful if it could be credited with providing true haulage over that stretch. Kevin Driscoll adds to the discussion: our coach had it that 56054 only powered from Romsey to Eastleigh on the first leg.
(2) 60053 on rear.
(3) 56047 failed at Woking, 33202 removed the "grid" from the train and then took the tour on to Salisbury.
