Notes :
(1) Seb Barrow comments: Snow and ice on the ground throughout, freezing cold.
Water stops at Hellifield and Garsdale on the outward. Departure from Carlisle
approx 50’ late, regulated for service trains in Eden Valley Up Goods Loop.
Memorable amounts of slipping getting in/out of the loop due to icy conditions.
Well over 1hr late into Stafford on the return leg. No record of the 47/7 but
was a RES liveried loco
