Notes :
(1) Andy Hoskins comments: Hertfordshire Railtours were due to run one of the Class 40 farewell tours on this date. D200 was at Stratford for repairs to the bodywork/repainting. However, on the day of the tour, an industrial dispute (believed to be the drivers at Stratford) meant D200 could not be provided. As this happened on the day of the tour, Hertfordshire Railtours turned up a London Victoria to let everyone know what had happened. Since the tour was cancelled at the very last minute, everyone who turned up was handed the railtour brochure and timing sheet! John Broderick on the other hand noted the reason for the tour being cancelled simply as 'D200 not fit'.
