Notes:
(1) Off Train Options from Durham to Beamish, returning to Newcastle, Free time
in Newcastle, or remain on the Train for a Trip along the Blyth & Tyne Railway.
Due to Bridge repairs, the section from Benton North Jn to Newsham could not be
covered, so with thanks to Network Rail at short notice, arrangements were made
to travel from Morpeth to the newly relaid Bedlington Sidings, (formrley
Furnaceway Sidings).

This was operated with Class 43 (HST Power Cars) double headed, which made for
interesting viewing at Bedlington Sidings as the Power Cars had to run round one
at a time due to length of headshunt.
