Notes :
(1) For Nottingham Forest v. Southampton FA Cup match.
(2) Route confirmation
required; Robert Haddon believes the trains are likely to have been routed:
Southampton - Eastleigh - Basingstoke - Reading - Didcot - Oxford - Banbury -
Woodford Halse - Nottingham, the same route as used by the daily
York-Bournemouth and Bournemouth - York train. Robert also adds: I am not sure
if the trains used Nottingham Arkwright Street station or not as this station
was nearer to Forest's ground than Victoria, although closed to regular passenger
trains.
