Webmasters note: It has since been confirmed (from a Special Traffic Notice) that the only tour that ran in the region on 25th March was the 'Grand Scottish Tour No.1'. Furthermore it is suggested that the photo below of D5317 is in fact from the March 27th 'Edinburgh District Tour', which was part of the multiple-day BLS/SLS 'Scottish Rambler No.6' tour.

Notes :
(1) Uploaded originally as running on 1st April 1967, Andrew Fairholm comments
that this tour is given in an RCTS photo listing as having run on 25th
March...confirmation someone please?
(2) Route confirmation required - photographic evidence is that the train
visited Haddington, Smeaton, Leith South, Granton and Lieth Citadel (all with
D5317 in charge) - all of which were on the itinerary of the 27th March
'Edinburgh District'; tour.
