Notes :
(1) Harry Harper comments: this charter carried quite a number of polititians & was designed to promote the Settle Carlisle. This was so successful that an excellent  photograph of 5305 (Ribblehead Viaduct) together with article appeared in a national newspaper (The Guardian I think) the following Monday. Tickets were also sold to the general public.
