(1) This was a shuttle service to publicise the reopening of Bathgate station from the next day. It was notable as a station opening whose first public passenger trains were steam worked. A round trip between Bathgate & Deans Bing Jn was 4m 20ch.
(2) Loco propelling.
(3) Listed in SRPS archives so may have been run in conjunction with SRPS Railtours.
