Notes :
(1) John Cassey comments: I travelled on this excursion organized by BR but do
not know its origin or termination. It was a mystery tour as no destination was
given but we had a break in Shrewsbury and in Swansea. While passing through
Colwall Tunnel on the return between Ledbury and Great Malvern something fell
from one of the tunnel shafts and damaged the braking system on one of the
coaches. We limped to Worcester Shrub Hill where the train was terminated and a
hastily arranged 9 car DMU was pulled off the stabling point to get customers
home.
