(1) John Cassey comments: From my records it appears the train failed to stop at Swindon in the morning and was propelled back for ½ mile after overshooting to make its pick up call.
(2) John Cassey further comments: Was originally requested to run on the DC lines between Willesden and Watford Junction but was refused the week before the tour ran.
(3) Route confirmation required prior to (outward) and post (return) Cheltenham Spa - above is booked route.
