(5) 1Z62 was booked to reverse at Wensum Jn, but did not do so due to a signalling error. This meant that 61306 was at the wrong end of the train for watering at Dereham. 1Z63 was diverted via Wensum Jn, in order to get the train the right way round for the return to London. 33207 failed at Ipswich due to loss of coolant, where the train terminated. Passengers returned to London Liverpool Street by Greater Anglia service trains. After being watered by the Ipswich Fire Brigade 61306 took the E.C.S. direct from Ipswich to Southall. The failed 33207 was towed from Ipswich to Southall by 37516 as 0Z38 on 05/07/19.
